S4E5: “Buying America”, by Daniel Foytik

Thanks to our supporters, we’ve put together an episode based on a story from our written Anthology, written by Daniel Foytik and adapted for audio by Scarlet R. Algee. This was previously an exclusive episode heard by supporters in July of 2019.

John Gate is a wealthy businessman from New York who wants to return to an era from the past. He thinks he will find this by going back to his home town and buying the small town hardware store, Great America, from the retiring Joe Thomas.

When he realizes the town is no longer the way he remembered it, his anger rises, but more is going on than he realizes. When he meets a little girl dressed in clothing right out of the 1900’s named Victoria, he starts to realize that things are really not what they seem.
